Curious Jane

The first pants, trouser-shaped “bloomers” became accepted as functional cycling clothes for women in the 1880s. First advocated in the mid-nineteenth century by the feminist Amelia Jenks Bloomer, from whom they took their name. However it was until 1939 when Vogue, the fashion magazine, pictured women in trousers for the first time that helped make trousers acceptable for women.

The vintage brown is a color I really like especially for the bags. The look completes itself with the grey round shaped eyeglasses, I prefer them to rectangular black frames which became part of the mainstream now.
